JJK Gen Week is a fanweek dedicated to creating content focused on platonic and/or familial relationships between the characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. Any content that would fall under the "Gen" category on Ao3 is fair game! Each day of the week will feature two prompts, plus a free space on the final day.
about the mod
this event is run by grace (zukkaoru / GallifreyanFairytale)
their previous mod experience includes co-modding Zukka Week 2022. they've created for a variety of fanweeks, big bangs, exchanges, and zines.
rules
- this event is SFW only. creators of all ages are welcome to join this event, so no NSFW content will be allowed.- background ships will be allowed, however they must not be the focus of the piece.
additional rules concerning background ships: minor/adult ships will not be allowed. this includes aging up characters who are minors in canon as well as any ships between curses (i.e. Sukuna, Kenjaku, etc.) and characters who are canonically minors. incestuous ships will also not be allowed, including between adopted family or step-family.- no white-washing. with very limited exceptions, the characters in Jujutsu Kaisen are all Japanese; be respectful of this.- no content that is racist / homophobic / transphobic / ableist / otherwise bigoted. this includes erasing characters' canon disabilities (i.e. Toge, Mechamaru, etc.) discussion of these topics in your work is fine, so long as it's handled respectfully.- be sure to tag any potentially triggering content.- image descriptions are not required, but they are highly encouraged, as they make your content more accessible. for those posting to Twitter, this means adding alt text to images. for those posting to Tumblr, this means adding alt text or an in-post description directly beneath any images.
